The 87 farmers, scientists, journalists, and friends who joined us for Day One of the field series on May 4,
Last Saturday, we rolled up our sleeves for a productive cleanup day at Rancho Dos Hermanas. John, Charlie, and I kicked off the day bright and early, working together to tidy up the ranch and meeting with pump and pressure testers to evaluate our well water systems. It was an eye-opening experience learning more about the vital role our two adjacent rivers play in ensuring a plentiful and reliable water supply.
We are currently planning to establish an office on the property, which will bring more frequent visits and enhance our day-to-day operations. As we prepare for this next chapter, our immediate priorities are clearing roads and brush, optimizing the water systems, and ensuring the continued health of our trees.
Looking ahead, we are gearing up for the Navel orange harvest in just a few weeks, an exciting time of year for us. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to share the latest happenings at Rancho Dos Hermanas.
