Weekly Ranch Roundup: Harvests, Cleanups & Old Friends
It’s been a full and fruitful week at Rancho Dos Hermanas!
We’re happy to share that our Valencia orange harvest is officially complete—and we’re very pleased with this year’s yield. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of seeing months of hard work culminate in a healthy, vibrant crop.
Strengthening the Ranch, Inside and Out
On the operations front, we made meaningful progress addressing recent trespassing issues with the support of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. Their collaboration has been incredibly helpful, and we’re moving forward with stronger boundaries in place—both literally and figuratively.
We also struck gold when we found a fantastic local guy who’s been clearing out old junk and machinery from the property. His help has made a huge dent in our long list of clean-up projects, and the ranch is already looking better for it.
Welcoming Familiar Faces
And perhaps most meaningful of all—we had the chance to reconnect with our lifelong family friends, Buddy and Keith. Their deep knowledge of the land, the groves, and all things ranch-related is unparalleled. Having them back in the mix feels like a blessing and a full-circle moment.
We’re feeling grateful, grounded, and ready for whatever the next week brings.
Stay tuned,
